Monday!?!

Weekend came and went. Didn't really did much during weekends, just cleaned house, did laundry and the normal stuffs. Kinda boring eh? At least the house is a bit cleaner, and that is the only consolation. Monday is here again, and goodness, I dread Monday already. Classes, classes and more classes. Haha!

Summer Camps

Summer Camps are a great learning experience for kids in elementary school. I think its better for them to be in summer camps rather than cooping at home watching tv or playing. I rather them know more friends and gain more knowledge than wasting summer away. It will be a great experience for kids to be spending some time in summer camp, really.

Cookies

Snacking is fattening, I know. But I can't help to eat more cookies lately, maybe because I am plain lazy and cookies and biscuits are the most convenient. OMG, those individual travel pack cookies rocks! I can just eat one small pack, and not risk getting all others soft and untasty. Lol! What am I talking about? What is "lou fung" in English? flowing air?

New Music Charts

Music lovers take heed! There is a new music chart coming up featuring unsigned bands, so do check out if there are some great songs there. I don't know that many unsigned bands, but some do have some really good songs, and what's more there is unsigned chart with free music downloads as well, so don't miss it. Do check them out and tell me about it yeah. I am sure the chart will come in handy for you to choose which unsigned music is the best, so that you can download. Have fun!

Press Release:

tourdates.Co.UK, Britains fastest growing new music website, has launched a chart for unsigned bands.

The site allows new bands to upload promotional tracks, announce gig dates and create profiles to promote themselves alongside major artists such as the Artic Monkeys and The Twang.

Tourdates Jarrod Robinson says, there are some fantastic unsigned bands in the UK and we wanted them to know how much our community likes their music, an unsigned chart seemed the perfect answer.

Chart results are announced on the site at 19:00 every sunday, the sametime as the No1 single of the week is announced on BBC's radio 1.

Sales!

Just came back from some walks at the mall, and oh boy, sales are everywhere! It takes a lot of self restraint to actually not empty my savings accounts. Goodness. Bought a pair of Vincci peachy heels, and that is that. Its 50% so I guess that justifies. Don't let dad hear about it or he will laugh at my willpower.

Argh. Dinnertime again, but don't know what to eat. Can I go on a hunger strike?

Celebrity News

Woot! Another new site to hound for celebrity gossips. You know, about how Angelina Jolie got her adopted kids, how Christina Aguilera is pregnant, or whoops! Britney Spears did it again!

I just dig celebrity news when things are going slow in real life. Looking at their glamorous lifestyle every now and then is kinda like, OMG, I wish I could live like that, and then laugh myself silly at what outrageous some famous people will actually do, not that I care.

Sometimes the celebrity photos featured are oh, so sexy! Kinda a great place to get some fashion tips, if not for anything else. Hollywood lifestyle, I can only read about it. Hah!

Should I?

Yawn. Its lunch time now. What should I eat? Thinking of what to eat every now and then is kinda boring, sometimes I just feel like catering and eat whatever they dish out.

Lazy man's best solution eh? But then, catering food is kinda boring as well. They don't cook all too well, and sometimes the food is inedible. At least that is what I think of my previous food caterer.

So, cater or not?

Whoa!

Result's out! And I passed! So worried that I can't sleep properly. It is just so disheartening to take supplementary exam. Another few more days of studies, worries and even sleeplessness just to sit the exam, and hoping to pass.

Argh! Passing is good news!

So happy!

Spy Sweeper

I used to be a computer noob. Still is, in fact. Back then, being such an ignorant, I am not so keen on updating my antivirus definitions, and spyware is virtually alien to me at first. I have no idea that antivirus are inefficient to curb spyware and I thought they could do everything.

Not long after, we’ve got ourselves internet and getting connected means the computer is even more susceptible to viruses and spywares. What happened what pop ups keep appearing, and all those annoying messages came up, all about advertising and stuffs. I was irritated, and tried to install some anti spyware programs. Since I don’t know which is good, I simply installed some.

However, things got worst and my homepage even got redirected, and the whole pc keeps lagging for no good reasons. More and more alien programs keep running and I go more confused than ever. Thank goodness that i could still format the computer and that is what I did.

It was such a huge hassle just because of me being ignorant, and it took me so much trouble to reformat the whole pc, after which I installed a few spyware programs just in case. Spywares such Spy Sweeper as seems to be doing a good job, and trust me, I am not going to be lazy and skip the spyware program part.

Pfft.

Right now I am using this Celcom GPRS thingy to online, and because I live in the outskirt, the line isn't exactly that stable, which I hate. On second I am typing happily in blogger, the other second I can't post. It wasn' exactly that bad because I can download a few anime episodes, but when night comes I have to keep clicking connect.

Right now I am staring at the idiot box more than the monitor. TVB rawks. They fill my spare time.

TheNewsRoom.com!

Did you watch the miss universe pageant? I didn’t really follow up the whole thing, but I did read about the result on newspaper. Tired!

Argh!

So tired and sleepy. I didn't know series marathon can be so taxing. I've been finishing alot of TVB dramas lately, and I can watch a lot of episode in one sitting. I think I am turning into a couch potato already. The plot is getting stale, what with who is going to harm who and who is indebted with who, but it is kinda interesting if there is nothing else to do.

P/s: Bernice Liu is kinda cute.

Hotel Reservation

I was lounging at home right after dinner when my phone rang. It was my cousin who had just reached and looking for a place to stay. I assume that he was with his friends to spend their long weekend there. It is a public holiday and it strike me as weird because they should be booking a place beforehand, just to avoid not having a place to stay. It will be hard to say whether or not there are still accommodation, because, since it is public holidays tourists will be streaming in by dozens from left, right and center, and chances are that hotel rooms price might be hiked due to this very reason.

As for me, if I were to go anywhere, I prefer to play safe. Calling ahead, checking the rates and determining a place to say before departing is what I always do. I tell you, I am afraid that I ended up in the streets. I can’t live without creature comforts, running tap water and flush toilets. Call me a brat, but I really can’t stand. I used to scoff at the idea of camping back in school, so you get the rough idea.

Speaking at reserving a place to stay while going on a holiday, things certainly seemed easier nowadays, as compared to previously where all things are done via telephone. Nowadays everything is online, and hotel Hotel Reservation online is the norm to do booking. Just choose a destination and every available accommodation is listed out at your convenience. A few clicks and everything is done. Simple, isn’t it? Now there is no excuse not to do some research before embarking on a holiday with websites such as these to fulfill all the traveling needs. Book beforehand to avoid not having a place to stay.

Warm

Goodness!

It has been warm like mad, and suddenly when I get to go out for didn't even get to reach home and the sky is pouring. It is a good thing anyway, because it has been so warm that I rather stay at home and eat instant noodles rather than getting out of the house.

I guess, maybe because I stayed near the foot of the hill that it is more cooling than here, which is all flat and offers no shade at all.

I think I might have some ice cream overdose.

Gah.

Soy Candles

It is getting increasingly hard to get a good gift for my friends. Last weekend was one of my friends birthday and since she is such a candle lover, I decided to get her some scented candles which are cute. Oh boy, I didn’t know decent candles cost that much. Although I am fascinated with all sorts of different size and shape candles, I am still wary of burning candles in the house.

If only I found this soy candles sooner, I would have get some for her. After all soy candles seems to be more environment friendly, and I like the concept a lot.
