Gold and Gold Coins

Last month, the month where my cousins were getting married, mum was all busy going to the goldsmith and jewelers to check out some jewelries as wedding gifts to my cousins. You see these cousins of mine are quite close enough, and therefore a gift of gold is appropriate. While there, the gold smith asked my mum if she had any old gold jewelries that she doesn't wear anymore: that they can melt the gold and remade them into more fashionable and "in" jewelries, with a small fee. I don't know how I felt about this, gold prices are getting up so it is a slick and sly gimmick by the goldsmith, but then again, if my mum things she wanted to, well I can't really disagree. Sigh, if I have the money I would have just get some us gold coins to keep. I know the value of gold is going to increase tenfold by the time I retire, and I can cash them to go for vacation. If only.

Old House

About the disadvantages of living in an old, rented house:

I mean, you know old house and all the diseased floor, furnitures and whatnots. The only good thing about it is, perhaps, the house owner wouldn't mind as well if we don't keep it clean enough, but otherwise the crackling walls and leaking roof is not funny. Neither are those weird smelling stuffs too. I don't know, but gee, the house smells dusty and all that and I swear we did clean up.

Sigh. And I hate the toilet. The toilet bowl is dark brown in colour and for a 3X3 feet its fugly. And those stupid tap all over the house. When its on, they trickle. When its off, they drip. :(
