Curry Mee, Asam Laksa and Local Fares @ Restaurant Tong Siang

DaddyS, JBoy and I are going to climb Batu Caves today! DaddyS brought us to this place to eat before embarking the mission of climbing the steps of Batu Caves. The curry mee is Penang style, somewhat a rarity in KL and one of DaddyS' favourite.

I ordered laksa lemak, and it was a combination of sour, spicy and creamy. Very appetizing, with plenty of soup.

This bowl of curry chicken is part of the dry curry chicken noodles. The reddish color and the sheen of oil signals good curry.

The dry curry noodles.. Yellow noodles drenched in black soy sauce, with curry at the side.

DaddyS' Penang style curry, which we all agree is almost similar with the original version. Lack of toppings variation is due to DaddyS' pickiness.

In all, I will visit again when I crave for local fares, as the menu is quite extensive and includes some rice dishes, sweet soups and desserts.
